Acupuncture for Low Immunity
Immune Support

Supporting Overall Wellness And Immune Function

Once compromised, a weak immune system results in frequent colds, allergies, and recurrent infections. A compromised immune system is often a major component of many allergies and chronic diseases. Stress, lack of sleep, poor nutrition, environmental irritants, and other common conditions can all contribute to a weakened or overactive immune system, making the body vulnerable to colds, infections, allergies, autoimmune disorders and their associated flare-ups. Many people utilize Acupuncture for low immunity.

Acupuncture can help regulate and strengthen the immune system, thereby reducing symptoms, speeding up the healing process, and normalising the body’s immune response to different stimuli. Over time, the cumulative effects of acupuncture can lead to decreased sensitivity to environmental allergens and often eliminate the manifestation of allergy symptoms without the use of over-the-counter medications.

We use Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine to treat a wide range of allergy and immune disorders, including but not limited to:

Answers to Your Most Common Questions

Find answers to common questions about acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, treatment sessions, bookings, and what to expect during your visit with our experienced practitioners.

What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine treatment that involves inserting very fine needles into specific points of the body to support natural healing, improve circulation and help restore balance. It is commonly used to support pain relief, stress management, sleep, fertility and overall wellbeing.
Is acupuncture painful?

Most patients experience minimal discomfort during acupuncture treatment. The needles used are extremely fine, and many people describe the sensation as mild tingling, warmth or slight pressure. Treatments are generally relaxing and well tolerated.

What conditions can acupuncture help support?
Acupuncture is commonly used to support a wide range of health concerns including back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, stress, anxiety, sleep difficulties, fertility support, muscle tension and general wellbeing.
How many acupuncture sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your health concerns, symptoms and treatment goals. Some patients notice improvement after a few sessions, while chronic or long-term conditions may require ongoing care and a personalised treatment plan.
Is acupuncture safe?

When performed by qualified and registered practitioners, acupuncture is considered a safe treatment. Our clinic follows professional hygiene and safety standards using sterile single-use needles for every treatment.

What is the difference between acupuncture and dry needling?
Acupuncture is based on traditional Chinese medicine principles and focuses on supporting overall balance and wellbeing. Dry needling is generally used to target muscle trigger points and musculoskeletal tension using a different clinical approach.
What is Chinese herbal medicine?

Chinese herbal medicine uses carefully selected herbal formulations traditionally used to support various health concerns and overall wellbeing. Treatments are personalised according to each patient’s symptoms and health goals.

I’ve been seeing Dr Christine for almost three years now, and my experience has consistently been excellent. From the moment you step into the clinic, it feels calm, welcoming, and immaculately clean — a truly relaxing and restorative space. Over the years, traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture have brought real and lasting improvements to my overall health and wellbeing. My favourites are acupuncture, cupping, and gua sha, which feel both deeply therapeutic and indulgent — the perfect balance of healing and self-care. Dr Christine is professional, attentive, and genuinely cares about her patients. I’m extremely satisfied with the care I’ve received and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for holistic treatment in a beautifully calming environment.

After years of struggling to conceive, I began acupuncture treatments with Dr. Park—and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From our very first appointment, Dr. Park was incredibly compassionate, gentle, and genuinely invested in understanding our journey. She tailored each session to support my body’s needs, not just through acupuncture but also with thoughtful guidance on nutrition and lifestyle to optimise my health for pregnancy. Thanks to Dr. Park’s expert care and unwavering support, I’m overjoyed to share that we had a smooth and healthy pregnancy and have now welcomed a beautiful, healthy baby girl. I am truly grateful for Dr Park's dedication, knowledge, and kindness throughout this journey!

The acupuncture treatment did wonders for my digestive issues in just over 3 weeks. The calming atmosphere of the place was therapeutic in itself and the care I received was thorough and effective. I was also guided some important lifestyle changes. Definitely recommend this place.

I highly recommend On Acupuncture as they are very professional and genuine. I have been seeing Dr Christine for years, and she is the kindest health practitioner I have ever met! She is very knowledgeable and caring, and always has her patients’ best interests in mind. She always takes the time to patiently listen to all my concerns, which I really appreciate. I had initially seen Dr Christine as my sister had recommended her for some health issues I was facing (which was ongoing despite me having seen numerous GPs). After a couple of months of seeing Dr Christine, she managed to resolve those health issues. I still see her regularly for acupuncture to maintain my health, and I always look forward to my appointments with her. Despite me being scared of needles, she always ensures that I am comfortable and that she is gentle with me, which makes it a pleasant experience! Dr Remy is also always very welcoming with a friendly smile on his face, and I love going to the clinic as I feel relaxed and well-taken care of as soon as I walk in. I actively recommend On Acupuncture to my family, friends and colleagues, and all the feedback I have received from them are extremely positive. Thank you Dr Christine and Dr Remy!

Was treated by Christine a while ago and will definitely go back if needed. She genuinely cares about the patient by a thorough consultation to start with and check on your condition before every treatment. She is gentle and got great skill with the needle which creates zero or little pain during the process. Will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who needs a good acupuncture treatment.
